"Deceptive Practices and Horrible Customer Service
​Avoid State Farm. They used bait-and-switch tactics on me not once, but twice. I was originally quoted a rate, only to find out after the fact that it required me to enroll in their invasive drive-tracking program—something they completely hid during the quote.
​When I called to cancel out of frustration, the representative "fixed" it by adjusting my coverage to a rate I agreed to. I explicitly asked numerous times if the tracking program discount was completely removed, and she assured me it was. It wasn’t. ​They will lie straight to you just to lock you into a policy and try to force their tracking software on you. Absolutely terrible, untrustworthy customer service."
